Lisa serves as BankUnited’s Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Consumer and Small Business Banking. Additionally, she oversees corporate strategy, digital bank operations, marketing, community development initiatives, and the company’s overall customer service division. In 2009, BankUnited was a failing institution purchased by an investor group. At the time, Lisa worked for Merrill Lynch investment banking and was persuaded to join the Bank. Since joining the Bank, Lisa has assumed more and more responsibility and has been instrumental in participating in leading various aspects of the Banks turnaround.
