Janet is a former Glendora resident who relocated to Santa Maria in 1983 to work at the local Bank of Santa Maria. In mid -1998, the Bank of Santa Maria merged Mid-State Bank, where Janet remained until mid-2000. After that, Janet was recruited to join a startup, the Community Bank of Santa Maria. Janet quickly assumed the role of the Bank’s CFO before being promoted to President and board member in August 2012. Janet, an alumnus of Western States Banking School in Reno and Pacific Coast Graduate Banking School at the University of Washington in Seattle, studied at Mount San Antonio College and Allan Hancock College.
