Lisa has served as the General Counsel and the Corporate Secretary of East West Bancorp and East West Bank since early 2020. Before joining East West, Ms. Kim served as the General Counsel and Secretary of Cathay General Bancorp and Cathay Bank from 2014 until her current position. Before joining Cathay Bank, Ms. Kim worked as an attorney at the Paul Hastings firm in Los Angeles. Ms. Kim has degrees in liberal arts and law from the University of California institutions: a bachelor’s from UCLA and a Juris Doctor from UC Hastings.
