Mary is the 13th President and Chief Executive Officer of the San Francisco Federal Reserve, assuming the role in October 2018. In this role, she oversees an organization committed to developing an economy that is healthy, inclusive, and sustainable in the Twelfth District of the Federal Reserve System, the largest and most diverse district in the Federal Reserve System. In addition, by expanding and extending her connections with the many banking communities she serves, Mary is a proponent of initiatives that aim to make the San Francisco Fed’s policies and Decision-making processes more open and accessible to the public.
