Aimee joined FirstBank in November 2021 as its Chief Risk Officer. In the CRO role, Aimee is responsible for enterprise risk management activities such as consumer compliance, anti-money laundering legislation, physical security, information security, loan review, and risk management. Before joining FirstBank, Aimee was recently the Chief Risk Officer at Houston-based Cadence Bank. At Cadence, she oversaw the Bank’s expansion into new markets and was responsible for shaping its strategy and expanding its risk management capabilities. Aimee has worked for companies with assets ranging from $800 million to more than $50 billion throughout her 30-plus-year career in financial risk management. Before entering the workforce Aimee, she earned her BS in accounting from LSU, where is graduated Cum laude. In addition to being a CPA (in the state of Louisiana), she has certifications as a CIA and a CRC (compliance manager).
