Dalen is a Senior Vice President and Chief Banking Officer for First Financial Northwest Bank. Initially, Dalen was not considering a career in banking, but while in high school responded to an advertisement for an internship at Detroit People’s Bank. While attending high school and later Michigan State University, Dalen worked at the Bank and her family’s business. After graduating, Dalen worked briefly for a credit union in California, relocated to the State of Washington, and worked for Rainer Pacific Bank in 1996. Unfortunately, the Bank ran into trouble and closed its doors during the great recession. Next, Dalen worked for Peoples Bank, established in 1920, before joining First Financial Northwest in 2014. At First Financial, Northwest Dalen took on progressively more responsibilities and now serves as the Banks Chief Banking Officer.
