Denise is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Bank of the Pacific, a wholly owned subsidiary of Pacific Financial Corporation, in January 2014. Before becoming President and CEO, Denise was most recently EVP – Chief Financial Officer. Denise joined Bank of the Pacific in 2001 and quickly rose to the role of SVP Controller. Before joining Bank of the Pacific, Denise was the Chief Financial Officer of Harbor Community Bank from 1999 to 2001. Before entering the Bank industry, Denise worked as a CPA and auditor in the public accounting sector for Knight, Vale, and Gregory, focusing on auditing financial institutions during that period. In addition, Denise serves on the Board of Trustees for Grays Harbor College.
