Linda is the President and CEO of the Oregon Bankers Association (OBA), a state trade association representing Oregon banks. Linda started with OBA in 1996 and became President and CEO in 2006. OBA is engaged in advocacy promoting banking at the state and federal levels in Oregon via alliances with the American Bankers Association (ABA) and Independent Bankers of America (ICBA). In 2013, Linda established the Oregon Bankers Association Education Foundation and now serves as its Secretary-Treasurer and Chief Executive Officer. Beyond her state, Linda has served on various related committees for the ABA and ICBA, such as the ABA Community Bankers Council and ICBA Consumer Financial Services Subcommittee. Linda has previously held positions on the ABA’s Board of Directors, Community Foundation Board, BankPAC Committee, and Committee on Housing and Community Affairs. Linda is on the boards of the Oregon Small Business Development Center Network’s State Advisory Council and the Willamette University Atkinson School of Management Advisory Board, where she previously served as chair. In addition, she contributes time and knowledge to initiatives that aim to prevent the exploitation of the elderly financially. Linda has been active in the areas she has worked and lived in throughout her career, serving on several non-profit boards and committees.
