Sue is the President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of Wheatland Bank, located in central and eastern Washington. After working for a regional CPA firm as the manager of an audit and consultancy business for financial institutions, Sue joined Wheatland Bank in 1999. At the time, Sue, 37 years old, was vigorously chased by Wheatland to assume the helm of the Bank. Sue accepted the job because she could not pass up the chance to use her knowledge and skill set honed in the accounting industry with a specialization in financial service companies. Sue and the board quickly developed a business plan for the Bank emphasizing growth and expansion. Since joining the Bank, the agricultural-based organization has experienced continuous growth and success.
