Christina is a financial technology lawyer working for the State of California in the Office of Financial Technology and Innovation (DFPI). As the Deputy Commissioner of the Office of Financial Technology Innovation, she and her office foster responsible financial innovation by working with business owners, licensees, consumer advocates, and other industry stakeholders. In addition, the office functions as a licensee resource conducting specialist market research involving emerging data patterns to foresee possible risks and new strategic possibilities. Before joining the DFPI in May 2021, Christina held the position of Manager of Financial Policy at Consumer Reports. Before Consumer Reports, Christina worked at Consumers Union in various legal roles.
