Irene has been an EVP and Chief Financial Officer with East West Bank since January 2010. Irene joined East West Bank in 2004 and advanced in the Bank; shortly after that, she became one of the youngest CFOs of a publicly traded company. Irene has had a variety of responsibilities at the Bank in the accounting and corporate finance departments. Irene previously worked for Goldman Sachs and Deloitte & Touche LLP before becoming an East-West team member. In addition, Irene serves on the boards of P.S. Business Parks, Inc. and United Way of Greater Los Angeles, where she is on the audit committee and the board of directors. Irene got her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from California State University, Los Angeles, and the University of Southern California. She is a CPA and a highly respected industry professional.
