Katherine is the head of U.S. Life Science and Healthcare at Silicon Valley Bank. The role covers the administration of the Bank accelerator/growth, corporate banking, sponsor financing, and institutional leveraged finance departments. Earlier in her career, Katherine was an SVP with Wells Fargo Banking, leading the development of life sciences business development. Before her stint at Wells, she held managerial positions at Affiliated Managers Group, Merrill Lynch, and C.E. Capital. Katherine attended Virginia Tech and received her bachelor’s degree in finance and economics. In addition to that, she has graduated from the Tuck Executive Leadership and Strategic Impact Program at Dartmouth, the Transformational Leadership Program at Wells Fargo, the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School, and the G.E. Capital Financial Management Program.
