Kathy is the Western Regional Director at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. As a 35-year veteran of the FDIC, Kathy is personally accountable for the safety and soundness of insured deposits in the district. In addition, 350 financial institutions in 11 Western States and the Pacific U.S. Territories are subject to her scrutiny for their asset and liability management, lending, investing, and corporate governance activities. Kathy operates in a regulated environment prone to economic instability while simultaneously managing sophisticated interagency interactions. Real estate, commercial lending, investment markets, and compliance and risk management are some of her core competence areas. She also has experience in cyber security, anti-money laundering, and information technology.
