Misako is an EVP, Chief Credit Officer for the Bank of Marin. Misako joined the Bank in 2013 as an SVP Commercial Banking Manager and, in 2018, became SVP Senior Credit Manager before assuming the Chief Credit Officer role in 2021. Misako has spent her professional life working in Commercial Banking, specifically with medium-sized enterprises. Misako was Union Bank’s V.P. of Commercial Banking for seven years after graduating from U.C. Santa Barbara. Before joining Bank of Marin, she worked for Comerica Bank for 13 years as the First Vice President of Commercial Banking and Credit Administration, where she supported Commercial Banking and Technology and Life Sciences. In addition, Misako’s volunteer experience includes time spent on the Headland Center for the Arts and the Marin Swim League boards and other roles at local Mill Valley schools’ non-profits
