Naomi Camper

Naomi serves as the ABA’s chief policy officer, which includes government relations, regulatory policy and compliance, economic research, and the office of strategic engagement. Also under her are the ABA Card Policy Council and BAFT, the ABA’s worldwide transaction banking arm. Before joining the ABA spent 13 years with JP Morgan as a managing director. While at JP Morgan, Naomi served in several capacities, including head of federal government relations. Additionally, Naomi worked as an associate tax counsel at the Investment Company Institute, the national trade group for the mutual fund industry, and at Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering, a Washington, D.C., law firm. Finally, Naomi was Senator Tim Johnson’s Democratic staff director of the Subcommittee on Financial Institutions from 2001 to 2005. (D-S.D.).
