Paris is General Counsel for Silvergate Bank. Silvergate is a leading provider of innovative financial infrastructure solutions and services for the digital currency industry. The Bank features on and off-ramps to cryptocurrency and has a real-time payments platform known as the Silvergate Exchange Network. The Bank’s mission is to enable the growth of digital currency markets and reshape global commerce for a digital currency future. Before joining Sivergate in 2017, Paris was briefly General Counsel for Orbian, an international supply chain finance company. Paris entered the banking industry in 2011, working for MUFG as a Fiduciary Product & Risk Manager. Paris is well suited for her role due in part to her history of working in financial services (FinTechs and global financial institutions). She also has a robust compliance background, which includes experience working with digital currency-related entities, supply chain finance, investment management, and trust product offerings.
