Rebeca is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Independent Community Bankers of America, representing the interests of community banks. Rebeca is a prominent activist for the community banking sector, focusing on regulatory change for community banks in the U.S. Rebecca is a third-generation community banker born and raised in Taos, New Mexico. Before joining ICBA as its CEO, Rebecca was the Chairman and CEO of Centinel Bank. In addition, she serves as a volunteer banker on the FDIC Advisory Committee on Community Bank, the Kansas City Federal Reserve Community Depository Institution Advisory Council, ICBA’s Minority Bank Council, and ‘ICBA’s Executive Committee.
